Born in the heart of Atlanta, GA., J.A. has always been accustomed to working hard to achieve his goals. At the age of 21 he begin realizing his dreams of making music when he begin recording at a studio owned by hip hop legend Chuck D.. After being mentored by Dirty North, a group signed to Chuck D's label, he begin to learn the business side of the music industry. Fast Forward to 2010...As 1/2 of the group, MYOWNBLOOD, J.A. gained attention as not only an fierce artist but as a determined businessman by putting together shows as well as networking opportunites for group. A failed record deal attempt with DTP Records proved to be the motivation the J.A. needed. After being forced into the role as a solo artist J.A. enforced his "#NoSleepGang" policy...All Grind and Literally NO SLEEP. Performing 7 days a week most weeks at different open mics and showcases. As a result of his grind J.A. has been fortunate enough to be on shows with Young Dro, B.O.B., Travis Porter, Gorilla Zoe, Jody Breeze and other popular hip-hop artist. Gearing up for his first solo album entitled "EGO MUZIK", J.A. along with business partner Arrion "E" Rackley, started 1021 Entertainment.
